Catholic Voices trains new group of Catholic speakers
During October 2017 Catholic Voices trained its newest cohort of speakers in reframing, principles of civil communication and public speaking skills ready for parish talks in Lent 2018.
Since our pilot Public Speakers’ training last year and launch with Cardinal Nichols, we were excited to continue to build momentum for the growing demand for our series for parishes called ‘Reframe’. During Lent of 2017 we spoke to over a thousand people in five parishes in the dioceses of Westminster, Arundel & Brighton and Brentwood. Priests and parishioners were impressed both by the professional and high-quality publicity and the quality of the speakers and talks.
Catholic Voices trains ordinary Catholics to speak the truth in mercy by seeing in controversy an opportunity to share the Church’s message. Our seventh wave of volunteers joins over 120 speakers we have trained since 2010 who make themselves available to speak in the media and/or parishes to help Catholics share the Church’s story.
We are now able to provide speakers parish programmes, workshops or bespoke training for your your parish, school, university chaplaincy, organisation or event. If you are interested in having Catholic Voices come and visit please get in contact by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
