Catholic Voices begins in Venezuela …. and seeds are sown in Trinidad

CV co-founder Jack Valero was in Caracas, Venezuela, recently to begin the training of a new Catholic Voices group due launch in April with the canonization of Popes John XXIII and John Paul II.

CV Brazil launches on eve of World Youth Day

Catholic Voices Brazil, described by the official pilgrim guide as one of the "legacies" of Rio2013, has launched in time for Pope Francis' arrival in Rio de Janeiro.

The weekend's training was led by Austen Ivereigh, supported by Paula Méndez of CV UK as well as Marilú Esponda and Carolina Rebollo of CV Mexico (pictured, below).

The training was held in Rio's Pontifical Catholic University (PUC), with Luciana Pereira, professor of communications at the PUC, acting as interviewer.

Normally Catholic Voices trainings outside the UK are designed to support Catholic Voices projects in particular countries (the most recent was in Australia; the next will be Brazil at the end of July).

Catholic Voices in Barcelona

Need a Catholic Voice who speaks Catalan? Following training last year by Jack Valero and Austen Ivereigh, Catholic Voices Barcelona is now open for business -- and, as their website shows, they have begun being interviewed (the picture shows Miquel). Endavant, amics!
